Good News was built by Allan. Way back in 2012, some good folks and I built a community called Designer News.

The mockups for Good News are available publicly in this figma file ↗.. You are free to view, inspect, copy, edit, and (ideally) publish back some of your best ideas for how to design this community. The mockups are reasonably up-to-date and reasonably complete.
