Just got my invite. Have to spend some time playing with the actual thing. If you haven’t seen it yet, this is the most condensed overview.

It's full of fantastic details, but I've found that it's trying to do too much for me so I've reverted back to Safari. Kinda like when Sony wanted their Playstation to be my media center.

I am a big safari tab group freak and drag the unsorted sites to the right group or close them already at night. And that’s exactly their workflow. Have to dig around a little more to see if anything else sticks.

The one thing that always gets me in safari is that the last site I try to organize away always closes the browser instance. They should only do that when you drag out of the browser area, not when dragging inside it.

I was an early user of Arc and used it religiously for several months. Then, it started getting slow for me so I went back to Firefox. I love the different spaces for tabs though so I found a plugin to replicate the experience in Firefox. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/simple-tab-groups/

Arc is also very opinionated design-wise and I'm not a fan of how thin the tab bar width is. You can customize it now but last I checked, that customized width is never saved between launches. I need my browser to be customizable enough to fit how I live.

Oh, and I'm using this Safari theme for Firefox because the default is just UGH (to me). https://github.com/ideaweb/firefox-safari-style
