Hi everyone! A couple of months ago, some friends and I founded a cooperative: Village One. It’s a remote company where every member has equal company shares, and therefore the same voice when it comes to decision-making and shaping the company. We chose a worker-owned co-operative as a company form as it seemed to be the most democratic and logical form for a small business like ours.
We wrote a lot about our (probably fairly idealistic) values and company ideas on our website.
Recently, we published a job posting for a digital product designer. The job is pretty ace if you look at the details: 32h-work week, fully remote, async, truly democratic. Maybe this is interesting for you or someone you know?
Anyway, I'd love to get some feedback on the general company idea, on the website and especially the job posting. Does it resonate? Do you have any ideas to improve it? Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks a lot! ✌
